How To Fish
A nice shallow sloping sand and shingle beach best fished on an incoming tide with a good surf. In the summer I concentrate on the Bass fishing here and over the years I have had some good results. Caught mainly on ragworm and sandeel to around 4lbs. Thornback Rays can be caught at distance here on mackerel and sandeel baits along with plenty of Doggies and Whiting.
In the winter fish when it’s rough and you can expect some Codling to 3lbs best caught on crab and lugworm. Also here you will catch the larger Whiting and Coalies to fish baits.
