How To Fish
One of my favourite places. Lovely views, great parking and fantastic fishing.
This venue can be fished at either low water or high. I personally prefer 2hrs before high to 2hrs after at night time. Bass are the main target here in the summer where they can reach 7-8lbs, caught in the right conditions on ragworm and sandeel baits. You will also catch Mackerel and Pollack on feathers or hokai lures, Whiting and Doggies on fish bait and Dabs to lugworm. Put a good cast out baited with sandeel or mackerel and you can expect some nice Thornback Rays.
In the winter you can get Codling in the 3-5lbs range, the bigger Whiting, the odd Bass and of course the ever present Dogfish.
