HOW TO FISH
This venue is best fished on the incoming tide and deep water can be found at the end of the point. This area can be quite tackle hungry but clear sand can be found with an 80 yard cast.
Numerous Rays are caught in this Bay during the summer months as well as good size Pollack and Bullhuss. These are caught on sandeel, crab and large fish baits.
As the winter comes so do the larger Codling, Whiting and coalies which fall to lug and squid cocktails.
Dogfish and Wrasse are always present in the Bay as are some big Congers which go to about 20lbs. These are caught on large Mackerel baits.
Fish off the rocks as the sand is too shallow and bare.
