HOW TO FISH
Moel-Y-Don has two slip ways, one of which is in a better state of repair than the other.
At each side of the point there are sand banks that can be fished at high water for Flounders, Dabs and Plaice. Bass can be caught on the left hand side near the rocks and in the main channel you will find Whiting and Dogfish all year round, together with some nice Codling and Coalies in the winter months.
In general this venue is not too weedy or rocky and quite easy to fish.
