How To Get There
Travel along the A55 for Holyhead, then turn off at Junction 5 for Abberffraw (A4080) and follow the signs for the Kart Track. After 15 mins you will pass Cable Bay on your right (large sandy bay between 2 headlands, with a lay by and car parking). Then you go uphill and take the turn off on your right (again signposted for the Kart Track) Follow this lane over the speed bumps, and when you reach the end there is a left fork for the track, but you turn right and follow up the road for another 100yds until you come to a dead end. Turn the car around and travel to where the houses are. At the back of the hedge is parking for fishermen. Go through the wooden gate at the top of the hill and follow the pathway up to the rock mark. As you get to the top, bear left towards the sea and you'll see a warning sign. Stand with your back to the sign and you'll see a grassy area on your right, which is where you walk down to. Then walk over to your left and get up on the rocks to fish from. A good cast towards the light house and you will be into the Rays.

HOW TO FISH
My absolute favourite. A very popular rock venue from early spring and throughout summer, which offers a whole variety of species including, Thornback, Small Eyed and Spotted Rays. Hordes of Dogfish, Whiting, Dabs, Pollack, Coalies, Conger, Bullhuss, Rockling, Wrasse and Mackerel are also present. Fish baits including sandeel, mackerel, launce and squid will take most species where as worm is seldom used unless you are fishing for Wrasse when rag and crab are the best baits. This  venue is mostly snag free and you are casting on to sand. The area to the left towards the kart track is snaggy in a few parts and is more favoured for conger fishing. Rays are the target for most people here, pulley pennel rigs are most popular. The slack water periods around low and high water are often most productive, especially after dark.
