How To Get There
From Chester head on the A55 to North Wales. Turn right at Ewloe on to the A494 and then left at the Queensferry roundabout. From here travel straight on for about 2 ½ miles and turn right at Tyre Save into Dock Road. Carry on around the bends and you come to the main Dock on your left where you can fish from right by your car.

How To Fish
This venue is predominantly known as a great place for Flatties. Using lugworm as bait on a spoon rig has always caught me lots of good size Flounder and Plaice to 2lbs. Also here you will catch Silver Eels, Bass and even the odd Sea Trout
In the winter you now get a large run of Codling to 4lbs caught on lugworm wrapped in squid, Whiting to fish baits and also the occasional Bass.
Do not fish here after heavy rain or snow for the fresh water coming down from the hills kills the fishing. The river also has a Bore which on a spring tide can be quite large.  This venue is best fished on a 24-25ft tide.
 
Parking and Walking …...Park on the Dock and you can fish straight from the car.
